The Bridge Federation of India is proud to announce that Subir Majumder and Sujit Kumar Bhattacharjee won the Silver Medal in the Senior Pairs Championship at the 5th Asia Cup Bridge Championships 2026, held from 21 to 27 June 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa.
The Senior Pairs Championship was part of the Matchpoint Finals conducted during the concluding phase of the Asia Cup. The official tournament programme included Senior Pairs alongside the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Pairs events.
🥈 Silver for India
Subir Majumder & Sujit Kumar Bhattacharjee produced an excellent performance to finish runners-up in the Senior Pairs Championship, securing a valuable Silver Medal for India.
They scored 303.60 points in the final, finishing behind the Gold Medal winners Younghong Cheng & Wei Wei Tsao of Chinese Taipei.
