The Bridge Federation of India is proud to announce that Savleen Thadani and Sadhana Gupta won the Silver Medal in the Women’s Pairs Championship at the 5th Asia Cup Bridge Championships 2026, held from 21 to 27 June 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa.
The Women’s Pairs was one of the four pairs championships conducted during the concluding phase of the Asia Cup. The pairs competed through qualification sessions before the leading pairs advanced to the final.
🥈 Silver for India
Savleen Thadani – Sadhana Gupta finished second in the Women’s Pairs Championship with a final score of 519.11, securing a well-deserved Silver Medal for India.
The final podium was:
🥇 Gold – Barbara Travis & Lori Smith (Australia)
🥈 Silver – Savleen Thadani & Sadhana Gupta (India)
🥉 Bronze – Hor Yung Charmian Koo & Suet Yu Zoe Li (Hong Kong China)
The achievement was part of an impressive Indian campaign at the 5th Asia Cup, where India secured four medals — three Silver and one Bronze across the team and pairs championships.
