Refund & Cancellation Policy

Bridge Federation of India (BFI) manages registrations, tournament entries, memberships, and event-related services through its website.
1. Registration & Payment
- All payments made on the website (registration fees, tournament fees, membership fees, etc.) are considered final unless stated otherwise.
- Payments must be completed using authorized payment gateways.
2. Cancellation by User
- Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to: bfisecretary2020@gmail.com
- Refund eligibility depends on the type of event or service:
Event / Tournament Registration
- Cancellation before deadline: Eligible for partial/full refund (after deduction of administrative charges).
- Cancellation after deadline: No refund unless approved by BFI management.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Membership Fees
- Membership fees are non-refundable once processed.
3. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or by cheque.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
- Late cancellations
- Violation of rules or disqualification
- Administrative or processing fees
- Any services already utilized
5. Event Cancellation by BFI
- If BFI cancels an event:
- Full or partial refund may be issued
- Or fees may be adjusted toward future events
6. Special Circumstances
- Refunds due to medical or emergency reasons may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to documentation.
