REFUND POLICY

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 02-08-2024

Bridge Federation of India (BFI) manages registrations, tournament entries, memberships, and event-related services through its website.

1. Registration & Payment

  • All payments made on the website (registration fees, tournament fees, membership fees, etc.) are considered final unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments must be completed using authorized payment gateways.

2. Cancellation by User

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to: bfisecretary2020@gmail.com
  • Refund eligibility depends on the type of event or service:

Event / Tournament Registration

  • Cancellation before deadline: Eligible for partial/full refund (after deduction of administrative charges).
  • Cancellation after deadline: No refund unless approved by BFI management.
  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once processed.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or by cheque.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Late cancellations
  • Violation of rules or disqualification
  • Administrative or processing fees
  • Any services already utilized

5. Event Cancellation by BFI

  • If BFI cancels an event:
    • Full or partial refund may be issued
    • Or fees may be adjusted toward future events

6. Special Circumstances

  • Refunds due to medical or emergency reasons may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to documentation.
