Conditions of Entry
CONDITION OF ENTRY
- IMPORTANT – This is a Ranking Point event and hence performance in the Mavericks Gold Teams / Mavericks Open MP Pairs / Women IMP Pairs / Mixed IMP Pairs will be eligible for Ranking Points as per the BFI Ranking Point Policy 2022 or any new version which may be introduced in 2023 by BFI.
- Participation in this tournament is open to all resident bridge players of Indian Nationality. Teams with one or more non-resident Indian bridge player(s) or with foreign players is also eligible to participate, but non-resident Indian / foreign player or an Indian resident player partnering a non-resident Indian / foreign player are ineligible for the ranking points in any of the ranking point event of this tournament (In case, if the non-resident / foreign player has played with 2 or more partners in the team event, then all of them will be ineligible for the ranking points).
- All participating players should be registered under BFI Master Point Scheme.
- Teams participating in Mavericks Gold / Silver team event can have a minimum of four and maximum of 6 players in the team.
- In Maverick Silver teams, maximum two player of the team can be of the rank of National Masters or above and they should not be playing as a partnership. Rest players should be below the rank of National Master.
- For Mavericks Gold / Silver teams, there will be minimum play criteria as per the SCoC. See SCoC for more details.
- There is no rank restriction for participation in Open MP / Mixed IMP / Women IMP Pairs.
- TRIOS are not allowed in any of the Pairs event.
- Detailed information on the schedule & SCoC will be circulated on the BFI web site at bfi.net.in and Tournament Web site www.bridgewebs.com/summernationals & various Bridge related WhatsApp groups. All participating players should go through and abide by the tournament SCoC.
- Entries for all events will start from 1st Jun 2023 on Tournament web site bridgewebs.com/summernationals.
