The Bridge Federation of India is delighted to announce that the Indian U16 Team won the Gold Medal in U16 Final I at the 9th World Youth Transnational Bridge Championships, organised by the World Bridge Federation (WBF) in Hefei, China.
The 9th World Youth Transnational Championships were held from 3 to 8 August 2026 at the Hefei Fengda International Hotel. The championships featured World Pairs and World Teams competitions across the U26, U21, U16 and U31 categories.
🥇 India – U16 Strata Teams I Champions
The official WBF results show India finishing first in U16 Final I with 71.43 Victory Points, ahead of:
1. India – 71.43 VPs
2. The Trick Hunters – 66.70 VPs
3. Dream Maker – 57.85 VPs
India therefore secured the Gold Medal in their respective group of U16 category.
