Team Mavericks emerged champions of the Dabriwala Board-A-Match Trophy at the 67th Winter National Bridge Championships, held in Kolkata.
The champion team comprised Jakub Patreuha, Shibhnath Dey Sarkar, Partho Sarathi Mukherjee, and Aniruddha Bhattacharya, who produced a series of strong performances to secure the title by a close margin of 1 point.
Runner-up honours were claimed by Team VEDIC, represented by Debasish Ray, Rana Roy, Bhabesh Saha, Pinaki Prasad Khan, and Satyabrata Mukherjee, following an impressive showing throughout the event.
