The 1st EA Bridge International Bridge Championships took place from 15 to 20 September 2025 in Chennai, at Express Avenue Mall (Central Atrium) and associated halls.
The prize money was very large: INR 1 Crore (about US$ 115,000) overall.
The event included multiple categories: Gold Teams, Silver Teams, Open Pairs, Swiss Teams, IMP Pairs, Swiss Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Ladies Pairs.
🏆 Main Results
- In the Gold segment, Team Poland (Wojciech Gawel, Przemyslaw Janiszewski, Krzysztof Buras, Piotr Marcinowski) won the title, defeating Team Nest Inn (R Kannan, Girish R Bijoor, Ramaratnam Krishnan, V Ramkumar, Afshar Majeeed) by 109 IMPs.
- In the Silver segment, the winning team was Dilip Atha IV (Rana Chakraborty, Dilip Atha, Kajal Chandra Das, Sumit Bhowmik, Swapan Sardar, Sumit Saha). They edged out KKK Bridge Lovers (Suvankar Basu, Sudip Pandit, Goutam Pore, Ramprosad Das, Animesh Majumder, Saptarshi Chanda) by 14 IMPs.
