The Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC) has always been at the forefront of encouraging and promoting a diverse range of sports and recreational activities, including Billiards, Tennis, Shuttle Badminton, Swimming, Squash, and Yoga.
Among these, the game of Bridge holds a special place as a truly intellectual pursuit—one that stimulates the brain, enhances mental agility, and promotes emotional resilience. Bridge not only sharpens concentration, memory, and analytical reasoning but also nurtures teamwork, communication, and the competitive spirit. Few games demonstrate the vast capabilities of the human mind as beautifully as Bridge does.
Recognizing these virtues, and with a mission to popularize the sport across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and India at large, FNCC took a pioneering step by organizing the All India Open Bridge Championship for the first time in 2010.
The inaugural event was a resounding success, drawing enthusiastic participation from players across the country, all of whom appreciated the exceptional hospitality and organization extended by the esteemed FNCC members.
Over the years, this championship has grown into one of India’s most prestigious Bridge events, consistently acclaimed for its professional conduct, warm atmosphere, and top-tier competition. The Bridge fraternity from across India continues to express its deep appreciation and gratitude to the FNCC Management Committee for their unwavering support and commitment to the game.
FNCC remains dedicated to nurturing and elevating the sport of Bridge—an enduring symbol of intellect, strategy, and partnership.
