The 1st Interstate National Women Teams Event commenced at Mysore Race Club from 1-5th August. After the initial Round Robin, the top 2 teams qualified for the final knockout .
In the final league, the event was won by Delhi represented by Puja Batra, Asha Sharma, Gopika Tandan, Nikita Kamal, Devi Bhatnagar and Alka Jain. They defeated Tamilnadu (Maya Iyer, Santhalakshmi K, Nalini, B Sumathi Iyer, Varalakshmi P, Sumitra V) in the finals by a close margin.
