Azs Buboslavia led by Kamil Nowak,Piotr Marcinowski,Jakub Patreuha,Patryk Patreuha defeated Team Formidables Kiran Nadar, Bachiraju Satyanarayana, Rajeshwar Tewari, Sumit Mukherjee, Kaustabh Nandi, Sagnik Roy in a close final at the 20th HCL International
The final of the GOLD Teams started on a quite note with a 21MP gain for formidables on the first board followed by four push boards – B2 to BS. Both the teams had won their semi-final match with a convincing margin, in fact, team Hemant Jalan, Formidables’ opponents in the semi-final had conceded after three sessions. On the other hand, Azs Buboslavia youngsters were beaming with confidence after beating a strong Poland Team.
The Matchpoint Pairs event was won by Boye Brogeland – Christian Bakke while Runner up were Julian Stefanov – Mihov
