GOA SWISS PAIRS FESTIVAL
Ramavtar Agarwal and Avijit Sarkar have won the Goa Swiss Pairs Festival, a bridge tournament that took place in Goa, India. The tournament was a 7-round Swiss pairs event final, with a total of 90 pairs participating. In Group B- Anand Samant and Milind Athavale emerged Winners.
This year the format of the Goa Bridge Festival will be a 3 day Swiss Pairs event from 19-21 July with Qualifying rounds on 19th and 20th July and final groups on the last day i.e. 21st July. DAY 1: TOURNAMENT WILL START AT 1:30 P.M. Venue: Gaspar Dias Club, Panjim, Goa. TRIOS are allowed to join and the event will be over by 5 pm on Sunday

Day 1 – 19.07.2024.
1.00 PM.
– Inauguration, lighting of lamp etc.
1.30 PM: 6 rounds of 6 boards each
Day2: 20.07.2024.
10.00am to 01.30pm: 4 rounds of 6 boards each
Lunch
02.30pm: 2 rounds of 6 boards each
High tea
05.00pm to 07.30pm:  3 rounds of 6 boards each.
Day 3: 21.07.2024:  Final league two groups will be formed to play Gold and Silver.
09.00am: 6/7 rounds of gold and silver finals. The no. of boards will be decided by the CTD.
