WBF REVISED ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES – 2020

WBF has issued new guidelines for representing NBO’s at World Championships to those who have migrated from other countries.

On 2nd December at the meetings held in San Francisco, the WBF  Management Committee unanimously approved the new WBF Eligibility Code and Bona Fide Residency Criteria to come into effect from 3 December.

FOR JUNIORS the guidelines are as under:

Eligibility: In addition to the other requirements requested by the Eligibility Code and Rules & Regulations, each player in the Under 31 Series must have been born on or after 1st January 1990 in the Under 26 Open & Women Series must have been born on or after 1 st January 1995, in the Under 21 Series must have been born on or after 1 st January 2000 and those in the Under 16 Series must have been born on or after 1st January 2005.
