Consequent to the announcement made by World Bridge Federation to conduct the 45th World 2021 Bridge Team Championships (Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup, d’Orsi Seniors Trophy, Wuhan Cup & World National Teams Trophy) which will be held in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy from 27th March to 9th April, the federation invites entries for the Seniors Category in order to confirm the Indian Teams to participate at the Zonal BFAME Championships (Qualifying Zone IV Event).
The Senior Selection Trials will be held at Ahmedabad from 22nd October (tentative dates). The final dates will be available after close of entries. Arrangements to be made by participants for travel/accommodation.
Entry Fees: Rs. 50000 per Team (Max 6 members per team allowed)
Last Date of Submission of Entries: 31st August, 2021
Winning Team to participate for BFAME Trials(to be held on Realbridge Platform) at a common designated venue in India.
Due to the current ongoing threat of COVID successive waves, the federation will take all the necessary safeguards for the complete safety of the players involved at national and overseas level. However, the players participating should complete their dozes of vaccination and carry a proof of it for compliance purposes.
All captains desirous to field the teams have to send a written mail to the BFI Hon. Secretary Mr. C.M. Kulkarni (bfisecretary2020@gmail.com ) giving the details of the team along with player names latest by 31st August, 2021 subject to compliance of the following conditions:
- Each player participating should be atleast 62 years as on the date of participation at WBF event. Changes in team composition will be allowed till 30th September.
- The capitation fees will be Rs. 50000 per team to be paid to BFI along with team details:

- In case of no support from Sports Ministry, the teams will be self-funded for which a declaration to be submitted by Team Captain at the time of registration.
- The winning team should be ready to travel subject to the Govt. guidelines at a common selection centre (to be held in INDIA) for the BFAME Selection event which is proposed to be held online on RealBridge Platform in the month of December.
Details of the selection trials will be announced after all the entries within 30th August are received.
