No Objection Certificate for Red Bull World Series

Any Indian bridge player want to participate in the ensuing 14th Red Bull World Bridge Series to be held in Sanya, Hainan, China from 10th to 25th October 2014 has to obtain ‘no objection’ from Bridge Federation of India with a payment of Rs 3000 each player. Cheque/Draft in favour of Bridge Federation of India payable in Chennai may be sent to R Rajagopalan, Treasurer-BFI, 4th Main Road, RA Puram, Chennai 600 028.

    We have not objected vociferously as a bridge playing community against BFI's ridiculous norm of depositing 30k in advance anticipation of winning designated tournaments, & disallowing teams which don't do the same. So, here comes another of those ingenious methods......

    Why this is being levied? If a team participates you have to pay 18,000 to BFI for no benifit.
