INDIAN JUNIORS AND YOUNGSTERS CAMP, NASHIK

Bridge Federation of India recently organized a selection / coaching camp at Nashik from April 28-30 for the rights to represent India at the World Youth Championships to be held in France in August later this year.

The participants including an U 26- team, 12 pairs in the category of U 21 Team. There were also 16 u-15 children who attended the camp (14 from Raibidpura, an 8 year old boy from Mumbai and a 12 year old boy from Bangalore).

The 3 day camp included bridge education imparted by the panel of coaches (Mr.Parimal Vahalia, Mr. Priyaranjan Sinha, Mr. Chandrashekhar, Mr. Rajesh Tibrewala) on several subjects involving bidding, card play and defense along with an enlightenment of the Laws of Duplicate Bridge.

A round robin was held on the last day comprising of teams ( Bangalore, Raibidpura, India under-26 and India under-21) that made it to the next phase –
